The Red Wings will practice this morning at Joe Louis Arena and then spend the rest of the Easter weekend away from the rink following their 4-game first round playoff sweep over the Coyotes. The team arrived in Detroit late yesterday afternoon after their series clinching win Wednesday night at Phoenix.

Last night, the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks stayed alive in the post season with a 5-to-0 shutout of the Canucks. The win is Chicago's second straight after dropping the first three of the series.

In last night’s other Western Conference quarterfinal game, the San Jose Sharks beat Los Angeles 6-to-3 to take a 3-games-to-1 lead over the Kings.
