SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (WTAQ) - Four companies in Wisconsin are on a new list of the nation’s best places to work.
Acuity Insurance of Sheboygan is number 1 among medium-sized companies, in an annual rating by the Great Place to Work Institute of San Francisco. The group surveys employees, and evaluates company cultures.
Acuity has 831 employees. It’s been on the survey’s top 5 for seven straight years. Four Imprint of Oshkosh was rated 8th best among medium firms. It sells promotional items, and has 419 workers.
Two other Wisconsin firms made the list of the nation’s best small workplaces. Badger Mining of Berlin is number 3. The Milwaukee architectural firm of Kahler Slater is 17th.
