APPLETON, Wis. (WTAQ) - 100-thousand-dollar bonds have been set for two women accused of supplying the methadone that killed a teen near Menasha.

41-year-old Kristi Schounard of Green Bay and 37-year-old Sheila Smith of Appleton are both charged with reckless homicide and delivering narcotics. They’re accused in the death of 18-year-old Jordan Rowe, who was found dead from a drug overdose in a Town of Menasha home on September 18th.

Police said Rowe left text messages on his cell phone that identified Schounard and described the drugs. Authorities said Smith arranged to get the methadone for Schounard to sell to the victim.

Smith is due back in court November 5th, when a judge will decide if there’s enough evidence to order a trial. Schounard’s next court appearance is November 11th.
