MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - The number two man in the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is leaving. Pat Henderson says he’ll look at options in the private sector, and today is his last day with the DNR.
He’s been the department’s deputy secretary since 2007. The move comes as Governor Jim Doyle wraps up his eight years in office.
A number of his appointees have already moved on while others expect to leave when Doyle does in January. DNR Secretary Matt Frank called Henderson an “invaluable leader.”
