GLENDALE, Ariz. (WRN) - A man has been arrested for the murder of a Sheboygan native near Phoenix. Investigators said 24-year-old Miguel Sanchez went to an apartment to try and rob 25-year-old Paul Kapitz. Sanchez allegedly hit the victim several times with a gun, bound him, dumped the body in the garbage, and burned the apartment to hide the murder. Police in Glendale Arizona said they found the body of Kapitz in a Dumpster 9 days ago, about 5 miles from where he lived. They were investigating a fire at the apartment last weekend when they found blood stains – and then they pieced the evidence together. His family told police they sent him the Wisconsin sports shirt Kapitz was wearing when his body was found. A medical examiner said he died from blunt force head trauma and multiple stab wounds. Relatives said Kapitz moved to Arizona to pursue a career as an auto mechanic.
