Camp wraps up

The Packers held their final public practice of the summer today, a hot mid-day workout in helmets and shorts on Ray Nitschke Field.  Gotta admit, the crowds of railbirds was pretty consistent throughout, big numbers with a rousing ovation when the final horn sounded.  It'll be the last practice for at least 22 players who will appear in the Pre-Season finale Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs and then await their fate from the turk. There are going to be several tough calls, the last receiver, the final secondary spots come to mind first.  There was one new injury of note, Jamari Lattimore had an ankle injury and with Robert Francois sidelined, Brad Jones took some reps at inside linebacker.  Nearly every linebacker, outside of A.J. Hawk has repped inside and out this summer.  Five players have definately been ruled out of the Chiefs game, James Starks, Andrew Datko, Tom Crabtree, Davon House and Francois.  Several others will have one more medical check on Wednesday.   On the link below, Mike McCarthy, Aaron Rodgers and more talk about the 2012 camp experience from their point of view.
