Wozz Friday Nine at Nine

1982 is the year E.T. phoned home which made sense since the year seemed engulfed in technology news. It was also the year of Disney’s computer themed movie “Tron”. The first CD players were sold in Japan. Even Time Magazine’s “Man of the Year” was a computer. Of course it wasn’t all about computers in 82’. Heavy rock was enjoying a resurgence with Judas Priest cracking the top 20 pop chart and Ozzy Osbourne was on top of the world except for the unfortunate bat incident (tastes like chicken … raw chicken.  In between “Thriller” and “Asia” there were some great albums and we’ll pick 9 songs from those for Wozz’s 1982 Nine at Nine right after Bob & Tom
