Where were you in 72'? 1972 was the year of “Layla”, VW Beetles and American Pie. It was the year we said goodbye to Creedence, The MC5 and the Velvet Underground and hello to The Eagles and Aerosmith. People were lining up for “The Godfather”. The cool kids were listening to Wishbone Ash, Chuck Berry was doing his My Ding a Ling” thing and we saw why Edgar Winter Only Comes Out at Night.
