JULY 1977 IN OAKLAND, LED ZEPPELIN PERFORM THEIR LAST U.S. CONCERT

On August 16th, 1977, we hear the news that The King is gone. Elvis is found dead at Graceland. One month later Marc Bolan (T Rex) dies in a car crash. A month after that is the plane crash killing Lynyrd Skynyrd's Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines and Cathy Gaines. Fleetwood Mac's peter Green is sent to a mental hospital. Patti Smith falls off a stage... Alice Cooper enters re-hab...Keith Richards wakes up to Royal Canadien Mountain Police in his pharma...I mean hotel room. Other than that it was a pretty good year! I hope we'll have better luck with the 9 @ 9 ....1971 right after Bob & Tom.
