Is it just me or does 1971's Fireball album cover look like a giant deep Purple space ummmm....seed?

Deep Purple Fireball

1971 was the year that Joni Mitchell releases the album “Blue”. It marked a turning point in music. It was simple and complex and surprising to many people including Bob Dylan (inspired Tangled up in Blue”) Robert Plant and Jimmy Page (Going to California). I only remembered it because Nazareth covered “This Flight Tonight” from the Blue album. Definitely worth a new listen. Thursday’s Wozz Nine @ Nine visits 1971.
