The NFL has seized an insane amount of fake merchandise… $13.6 million worth!

Thanks to "operation red zone", the league seized thousands of counterfeit jerseys and memorabilia with the help of Homeland Security.

The NFL says "the sale of counterfeit merchandise undermines the economy of the teams that work so hard to create brands that their fans want to represent."

This latest bust was big, but there are lots of fake retailers out there. According to the NFL, at any game, there are more fans wearing fake jerseys than the real thing.
