Soundgarden release their new album, "King Animal," today. To help launch the project, the band appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman Monday night.

Soundgarden performed their new single, "Been Away Too Long," on the nightly show.

The group also rocked a Live On Letterman concert webcast from the Ed Sullivan Theatre that was carried live by hennemusic. Check out their performance here.
