FOO FIGHTERS PLAYED THEIR "LAST SHOW FOR A LONG TIME", CLOSED THE READING FESTIVAL IN THE UK

Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl told the crowd at the UK's Reading Festival this weekend that the band had just played their "last show for a long time".

The band played a two-and-a-half hour set before Dave Grohl said he felt this was a special night and that it marked the end of the band's tour in support of their "Wasting Light" album.

He told the crowd: "Well, well, well. The f*cking Reading festival. You guys realize we've got a lot of songs to play. It's the last show of the tour and it's the last show for a long time.''

Grohl dedicated also "These Days" to his former bandmates in Nirvana, Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic. He then brought his daughters onstage and dedicated "Walk" and "Monkey Wrench" to each of them respectively.

Grohl's bandmates also found time to praise him. Taylor Hawkins told the crowd that he was thrilled to be onstage with "The greatest musician of this generation".
