Various media outlets are ripping on Seth MacFarlane, because of the nature of his jokes from the Oscars last night. I don't understand why they're surprised by his Family Guy-esque comedy. Really? What were you expecting? It's Seth MacFarlane. 

This was probably the most shocking joke of the evening. The Youtube title is misleading though. The crowd did NOT boo him. They just gasped. But, laughed right after he made a joke about the gasp.

I think whoever pieced this report together has never seen an episode of Family Guy or any MacFarlane show. What's wrong with poking some fun at the actors? (Especially when the actors themselves laugh?)
